R3 - Radio Blackouts (Strong) are in effect. Region 1520 produced a fantastic solar flare today, an X1/2B. It is too early to see if a CME or energetic particles were associated with this event, but SWPC forecasters are monitoring the situation closely.

REVISED FORECAST: The CME launched toward Earth by yesterday's X-flare is moving faster than originally thought.
