* PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN... SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN AND SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN... INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS... IN EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN... FOND DU LAC AND SHEBOYGAN. IN SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN... COLUMBIA... DANE... GREEN... GREEN LAKE... IOWA... LAFAYETTE... MARQUETTE... ROCK AND SAUK. IN SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN... DODGE... JEFFERSON... KENOSHA... MILWAUKEE... OZAUKEE... RACINE... WALWORTH... WASHINGTON AND WAUKESHA.
* THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING
* TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 3.50 INCHES... WITH SOME HIGHER TOTALS POSSIBLE.
* MAJOR FLOODING ON MANY AREA RIVERS... INCLUDING THE ROCK AND FOX RIVERS. WATER WILL COLLECT IN LOW LYING AREAS THAT ARE ALREADY SATURATED... LEADING TO FLOOD CONDITIONS EVEN AWAY FROM THE WATERWAYS. URBAN FLOODING OR EVEN FLASH FLOODING IS POSSIBLE... ESPECIALLY DURING PERIODS OF HEAVIER RAIN.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON CURRENT FORECASTS.
YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLOODING DEVELOP.

... PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN TO CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY...
.LOW PRESSURE AND ABUNDANT MOISTURE WILL LIFT NORTH INTO SOUTHERN WISCONSIN ON THURSDAY... BRINGING PERIODS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL INTO EARLY THURSDAY EVENING. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 3.50 INCHES ARE LIKELY... WITH SOME HIGHER TOTALS POSSIBLE IN ANY STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS.
THIS WILL LEAD TO SERIOUS FLOODING CONCERNS... ESPECIALLY WITH THE RECENT WET PATTERN THAT HAS AFFECTED SOUTHERN WISCONSIN. SOILS ARE SATURATED... AND MANY RIVERS AND STREAMS ARE EITHER RUNNING HIGH OR FLOODING ALREADY. FLASH FLOODING IS POSSIBLE.
