Isolated Incident // Gas Leak
A natural gas leak forced the evacuation
of at least 27 homes in West Valley City, Utah on Monday.
Evacuations began around 5:30 p.m. when Questar Gas workers found a
concentration of natural gas in the sewer near 5750 W 3500 S.
Questar Gas spokesman Darren Shepherd said they hope to let residents
back into their homes Monday night. If they are unable to let residents
go back to their homes, they will pay for overnight lodging for those
affected by the leak.
