         As an Army wife of many years I suggest not reading too much into this. Until there's an official announcement, you really have no idea whats really going on.

         Well Libby, having been a Marine and a Search and Rescue crewman in the Coast Guard for many years I can tell you that it is illegal to deploy solders inside the U.S.. As for then searching cars and detaining civilians, it is called illegal search and seizure. It is or shall I say, use to be a part of the constitution.

         Heyyy, the post I replied to is gone now. Anyway, Bayy, training is done in open view every day. Sure, there are things that go on in private too, but you can see it any day of the week. Even those that live off post can hear training going on. The scarey part is when things go quiet, then you know they're packing up & leaving.

        Posted Bayy’s video on my page and a dude posted on it and said that it’s all just rightwing propaganda. Wow! Even with photos and videos it’s still not true for some people. I guess those who don’t believe will find out the hard way.
        
        I talked to my father (retired DEA agent GS 14) about this and he said it’s a lot worse than we know. (just google Dos DEA and my dad will pop up)
      •  They could have been guard or reserve soldiers, on a road March... I wouldn't worry if it was on the week

        The article says they were guard. There are just a few of them, no ruck saks, no formation, etc

      • Maybe because there was nothing really going on. And, there is no anonymous on the net, everything can be traced.

         There is a big difference between your local guard unit doing a road March, only interacting to stop cars at intersections (like they do on base for unit safety) or answer a civilians, "whats going on" and doing real military activity, using civilians as a "training tool"

        Most guard and reserves, can't just show up at a fort, or camp to do something like a road march.
